Butterfly Outdoor Adventure is proud to be one of the pioneering companies offering mountain tours in Kosovo. Founded by Uta Ibrahimi, a UIAA and UIMLA-certified guide, Uta made history as the first Albanian to summit Everest and has successfully climbed 13 of the 14 peaks over 8,000 meters.
As trailblazers in the industry, Butterfly Outdoor Adventure was the first company to guide notable journalists from prestigious publications such as National Geographic and Lonely Planet in Kosovo. Over the years, Uta and her team have played a vital role in developing key hiking routes, including the High Scardus Trail and the Via Dinarica Kosovo. Additionally, we are part of the Trans Dinarica trail, a biking route that connects Kosovo with other regions of the Balkans.
In addition to hiking and biking, we offer ski touring experiences in Kosovo, Albania, and Macedonia, as well as cat skiing in Macedonia in partnership with Shar Outdoor. Our commitment is to provide unforgettable outdoor adventures while showcasing the natural beauty of the region.
